Are you an aviation or drone expert? Then we ask for your input!
If you belong to the wider aviation community including both traditional aviation but also drones, we invite you to participate in an interview on reduction of environmental footprint of air travel conducted by the RefMap project on behalf of the European Union. What is the RefMap platform expected to deliver?
RefMap develops a digital service focused on quantifying environmental footprint of air mobility for airliners and Unmanned Aircraft Systems where single-trajectories and the flow traffic of multiple vehicles are optimised to minimise the environmental impact on communities. By using environmental data, such as wind, noise, CO2 and non-CO2 emissions, RefMap's analytics platform will help airlines make eco-friendly decisions. This leads to stricter evidence-based “green” policymaking in the aviation sector and the development of new aviation business models in line with the EU's Green Agenda.
